  • Thanks for the additional information.

Please follow these steps below to troubleshoot your Bluetooth connection:

    1. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select your speaker and choose Forget Device.
    2. On the front of the speaker, press the Disconnect button.

    3. After turning the unit off and on again you should be able to pair your device. If not, turn both your Bluetooth device and the speaker off then restart both and re-attempt that pairing.

If the steps above didn't resolve your issue then try out the following three steps.

    1. Turn off both the speaker and the Bluetooth device.

    2. Turn them both back on then move it close to each other preferably not over 30 feet (9.1m).

    3. Attempt to pair them again while they're close to each other.

Note: If above still doesn't resolve your issue then try out the helpful troubleshooting tips from below:

    • Make sure the Bluetooth discoverable mode is turned on for both your Bluetooth device and your Bluetooth speaker.

    • You may already have several Bluetooth devices active in your immediate vicinity. To simplify the Bluetooth pairing process, make sure that you have no other active Bluetooth speakers within range. Your Bluetooth device may just take a few minutes to connect to your speaker.

    • Make sure both Bluetooth devices are in close proximity of each other.

    • Try powering both devices off and back on again.

    • Try choosing Forget the Device from the Bluetooth speaker and device then re-pair both.

    • Stay away from a WiFi router or another other device that may transmit a wireless signal.

    • Make sure the Bluetooth device that you're trying to pair to your Bluetooth speaker is designed to pair to Bluetooth devices not WiFi.

    • Update the Bluetooth device's firmware if possible.

If performing all of this, you're still having issues with your Bluetooth pairing then contact ION Audio Technical Support by logging onto www.ionaudio.com/support.

    I hope this helps!
