Block rocker bluetooth button is not working, what do I do?
The speaker worked perfectly in the beginning, then a few months later the button that you have to press for bluetooth stopped working. Usually when I press the button the bluetooth sign would blink on the speaker to connect to the phone device. Now it does not do that anymore and i am not able to connect my phone. So now i have to use a aux cord but I want to know why it is not working and how to fix it.

I think it's obvious "Chris D's" post was of no help whatsoever. And I, like at least 100 more people do not have a disconnect button. It's pretty apparent these BRs have a common malfunction

Thanks for the post. Sorry to hear about your troubles. We can help. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select your speaker and choose Forget Device. On the front of the speaker, press the Disconnect button. After turning the unit off and on again you should be able to pair your device. If not, turn both your Bluetooth device and the speaker off then restart both and re-attempt that pairing. -

Ironically, I just tried using my BR this past weekend and the same exact issue. I logged an issue on the website but then saw this blog.
It worked fine for months, bluetooth synced fine and then all of the sudden the blue light does not turn on and none of our devices pair. And my BR unit is less than 9 months old. I love it but the Bluetooth feature was key...

Yup we gave up - called Tech support many times - waited endlessly - finally had to give up and simply use the Aux chord. Sorry to say, but this is the last BR we will buy and this was our 3rd!!!

i have 2 block rockers and 1 did the esxact same thing one day it just would,nt connect blue tooth or NFC communications, no pair light or pair sound, no blue tooth light..The other one works fine.the radio works as good as it allways has won't pick up worth a shoe! Aux works fine.just no wireless period. thanks Ron D. Don't get me wrong i love these block rockers with all my hart..now i only have half a hart..and it hurts,,lol

I have had mine a matter of days before the illuminated Bluetooth button stopped illuminating!! Obviously no devises can find it now!! There is no disconnect button as suggested by the technician either.

Same thing happened to my wife. She uses her BR Live to teach her Zumba class - her and her class love the sound and lights. Then one day, out of the blue, (no pun intended) no bluetooth anymore? What gives? This is our second BR - we love them - one we take camping with us and one is strictly for her classes. Has anyone had any luck with a fix for this yet?

I have the same issue; it was working fine and now all of a sudden the Bluetooth will not come on no matter how many times you press the button and mine is less than a year old. Only a matter of months. Help.

I have the same issue with the Bluetooth button suddenly stopping working and none of the advice on here works, this is obviously a common fault and needs to be addressed, this product is not cheap. Logged the issue with support but from what I’m reading here it’s a slow system, I’m hoping for a quick and effective response

I have now received a complete replacement speaker from amazon, if the Bluetooth fails on this one I have been guaranteed a full refund. No advice on here works and the tech support department just advised me to contact whoever sold me the unit. Absolute rubbish support from ION I will not buy another one of there products again after this experience, if it wasn’t for amazons great customer service I would be £250 out of pocket!!
